In the government of Vallarta… life is tastier
Malecón with hammocks.- The Puerto Vallarta government official who exhibited Alone on Franco Escamilla’s show, she already came out to “clarify” the situation, and the truth is, perhaps it would have been better not to say anything.
A few days ago, a video of a woman named Natalia Montaño Ruelasan official of the Puerto Vallarta City Council, who attended the aforementioned comedian’s show. During the interaction with the public, Franco asked him what he did, and well… he painted for us in full the reality of the Mexican civil service.
In the show, the stand-up artist—who usually chats with the attendees—asked Natalia about her job and her duties. She, very confident, responded after admitting that she was a public servant:
“I drink a lot, I spend my time eating, having dinner, having breakfast…”
A sincerity that not even the SAT expected.
After confessing to Franco Escamilla that at work she only drank, ate and walked, the Puerto Vallarta City Council official, Natalia Montaño Ruelas, became upset on Facebook and called those who criticized her “senses and attackers.”

Although Franco insisted that she tell her what exactly she did in her job (or at least what she should do), the official was unable to explain it, causing the clip to go viral in a matter of hours.
This official was sincere about what she does in the government
Her responses caused a mix of indignation and laughter on social networks, not only on the Vallarta boardwalk, but throughout the country, opening the debate about how nice it is to have “big” governments and “top-level” officials like Natalia.
Faced with the scandal, Montaño published a video on his Facebook account offering apologies and “clarifying” that the comedy shows will be distractand that she is committed to the inhabitants of Puerto Vallarta in her public position. But well… too late.
He also assured that his job involves being on the lookout 24/7and that – now – he remembered what his functions are. Maybe it’s time to review the country’s public positions… and cut them by half, at least for consistency.
And to be up to date: some IMSS doctors made fun of a patient, and this is how it went on the networks.
