Bed headboards, mattresses, box springssofa beds, lamps, chairs, tables and even curtains. Almost everything is for sale at the Onyria Quinta da Marinha Hotel, in Cascais, which will soon undergo complete renovation. Those responsible guarantee that this is a total sale of quality products with little use, as the hotel was renovated in 2019 and was closed for two years due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

The sale of the pieces, Paulo Figueiredo, director of the unit, told Boa Cama Boa Mesa, after deciding on “a complete remodeling of the hotel, which will reopen under a different name”. The decision has not yet been made, but it will be a hotel with the Kimpton brand, similar to another that the IHG group already owns in Albufeira, the Kimpton Atlântico Algarve.

Recognizing “it is not very common to offer hotel furniture for sale”, Paulo Figueiredo justifies the option: “As we have almost 200 rooms, we believe that there are many people interested and who can take advantage of these pieces to reuse under very favorable conditions, because, obviously, the prices are very friendly”. He also adds that, taking into account the little use of the furniture, “it made no sense to destroy or hand it over to the social sector”.

The sale of Onyria Quinta da Marinha Hotel furniture is done through the platform Second Servewhich, interestingly, also sells the contents of Pensão Londres, next to Príncipe Real, in Lisbon. Prices start at €10, associated with an Alcatel desk phone, and include a box spring (110X200), for €95, or a Lusocolchão mattress, for €85.
