The day that many eagerly await has arrived: the Spotify Wrapped is available from today.
O Spotify Wrapped offers users an interactive summary of their musical interests throughout the year. This Wednesday it will be common to see, on social media, many of the people you follow sharing the songs and artists they listened to most in 2025.
The service, launched annually between the last week of November and the first week of December, is available to all users, including those without a Premium subscription. If you haven’t received the notification and don’t want to wait, here’s a link for the service.
Has Spotify been saving all my data?
Sim. The company analyzes all songs played from January 1st to November 15th, even those you only listened to for 30 seconds. The final ranking is based on the number of plays for each song or artist, not the total listening time. ToAll songs played in the application are registered.
This is also how the “Made for you” playlists are presented, and how the musicians are paid.

We analyze a wide range of qualitative and quantitative signals, on and off the platform, that guide our editorial decisions. We also closely monitor the performance of playlists to understand which tracks and artists are pleasing users”, he said. “This helps us identify which songs should be added more playlists.
