Dozens of residents of favela complexes in the Rio de Janeiro demonstrated this Friday against the police operation which caused the death of more than 120 people on Tuesday.
Under the motto “No more massacre”social organizations and residents marched through the interior of the Penha Complexone of the two neighborhoods where operations targeting the Red Commandthe most powerful and oldest criminal organization in the world Rio de Janeirowith branches throughout Brazil.

The march passed through the square Saint Lukeone of the main ones in the community, where, the day after the operation, residents displayed a queue of at least 50 corpses over the asphalt.
Tracks with the phrase “Out with Cláudio Castro” and large Brazilian flags stained with blood stood out among the dozens of people dressed in white.
Before the protest, Relatives of the victims gathered in front of the Government Palace region to demand justice.
