The 16 authors in competition in the next edition of Song Festival.
Of these 16 authors, eight were invited by RTPsix were selected through the free song submissionevaluated by a jury created for this purpose; an author was chosen by the public through the “Proof of Access”; and another was by the winners of the 2025 Song Festival, NAPA.
The “Access Test”, which put five music school students to online voting, and the direct choice of the previous year’s winner are new features introduced in the 2026 edition.
As semi-finals of the 60th edition of the Song Festival take place on the 21st and 28th of February and the final is scheduled for March 7th.
