Who is Raj Nidimori?
According to a report in Times of India, Raj Nidimoru is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter and producer who makes up half of the ‘Raj & D.K.’ duo. Nidimoru is a well-known personality in the entertainment industry, who is renowned to craft sharp, character-driven stories and bring untold stories not just to the big screens but also to OTT platforms.
With films like ‘Shor in the City,’ ‘Cinema Bandi,’ and ‘Unpaused,’ with many others, and series like ‘The Family Man,’ ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny,’ ‘Farzi,’ among others, Raj & D.K. have carved a niche for themselves in the film industry.

Raj Nidimoru was born in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati and studied at the SVU College of Engineering. Later on, he moved to the United States of America for completing his education further. The duo transitioned from tech careers to filmmaking and their first feature film, 99 (2009), marked the beginning of their journey as directors.
Raj Nidimoru’s ex-wife
Raj Nidhumoru was married to Shhyamali De since 2015 but they parted ways in 2022. She is a psychology graduate who has worked as an assistant director with renowned filmmakers such as Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Vishal Bhardwaj, and has also contributed as a scriptwriter and consultant on films like Rang De Basanti and Omkara.

Earlier reports claimed that Raj and Sam were planning to live together and were even scanning properties. But Samantha’s manager claimed that the information is just a ‘rumour,’ debunking any speculation about Raj Nidimoru and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.Now, social media is abuzz with rumours that Samantha and Raj Nidimoru are reportedly set to get married today. The two have been spotted multiple times in public but they have kept mum about their relationship. There is no confirmation about the development. But the filmmaker’s ex-wife has shared a cryptic post on social media that reads- “Desperate people do desperate things,” from author Michael Brooks.
