Mexico City, November 28 (However).- The Collective Transportation System (STC) Metroreported this Friday morning that personnel from Civil defense rescued a dog who wandered along the roads of the Line 2 and reached the maneuvering area of the terminal of the station four Paths.
“This morning, staff Protection Civil of the Metro rescued a lomito that reached the Cuatro Caminos maneuvering area of Line 2, after traveling 11 kilometers [km] on the road,” said the authorities in your X account.
The capital agency detailed that the animal was detected at 6:10 a.m. near the Zócalo/Tenochtitlán station, which led to power outages and a slow movement of the wagons for around two hours.

The institution indicated that the dog was safe and will be transferred to the Canine Transfer Center (CTC), where it will receive veterinary care before being put up for adoption.
The CTC functions as a temporary shelter for dogs rescued in road areas, with the aim of offering them for adoption to the public.
