MEXICO CITY.- The Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) reported that two of its elements, who carried out intelligence and investigation work field in Jalisco, They disappeared in the municipality of Zapopan as they headed to Guadalajara, the state capital.

The SSPC detailed that following the route they were taking, they found the unit in which they were traveling abandoned in the area of Paseo de los Virreyes, in the municipality of Zapopan.
The agency explained that it maintains permanent communication with the Jalisco authorities and works in coordination with the Secretary of National Defense (Defense), the Secretary of the Navy (Semar) and the National Guard to find the elements.
In addition, he stated that the families of the agents “have the absolute support and support of the institution,” which is already providing them with support.
