MEXICO.- This Monday the authorities arrested Jaciel Antonio Herrera Torresalias ‘The Pelon‘, 36 years old, identified as people recruiter in rehabilitation centers to integrate them into criminal groups that operate in the city of Uruapan, Michoacán.
As reported by the head of the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection, Omar García Harfuchon their social networks, the lines of research indicate that the detainee would have recruited a two individuals involved in the murder of the mayor of Uruapan, Carlos Manzoon November 1 during a public event for the Day of the Dead.
Official sources confirmed that Herrera recruited the deceased Víctor Manuel ‘N’ and Fernando Josué ‘N’who actively participated in Manzo’s homicide.
According to information from the authorities, those recruited by the recruiter carried out contract killing and drug distribution functions in the area.
After office and field work, security elements located the suspect in the vicinity of a hotel in Uruapan, where he was stopped for bribery and health crimes.
