Mexico City, November 4 (However).- The armed forces of USA (EU) carried out a new operation in the Pacific Ocean which resulted in the death of two people, indicated by the Donald Trump Administration to be suspected drug traffickersreported this Tuesday the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth. According to the official, the attack was carried out in international waters of the eastern Pacific, after confirming that the vessel objective was linked to the drug trafficking.
“The intelligence services determined that the boat was transiting a route commonly used by drug trafficking and was transporting narcotics,” Hegseth explained in a publication on X, formerly Twitter.
The message was accompanied by an 18-second video showing the moment a boat is hit and explodes on the high seas.
Today, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War carried out a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization (DTO).

In recent weeks, the United States has intensified attacks against vessels suspected of illicit trafficking in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, resulting in at least 60 deaths.
President Donald Trump has defended these actions as part of his strategy to combat international drug trafficking, while his Venezuelan counterpart, Nicolás Maduro, has described them as an act of “warlike aggression” aimed at destabilizing his Government.
They are “extrajudicial executions”: UN
The at least 12 attacks by the United States (EU) on ships and the resulting deaths violate international law, accused the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN-DH), Volker Türk, who asked the Government of President Donald Trump to end such a military strategy.
“These attacks and their increasing human cost are unacceptable. The United States must stop these attacks and take all necessary measures to prevent the extrajudicial executions of the people aboard these vessels,” said the High Commissioner.

“The United States air attacks against vessels in the Caribbean and the Pacific violate international human rights law,” the official stressed.
So far, the attacks have been in the Caribbean, near the coasts of Venezuela and Colombia, as well as in the Eastern Pacific, where at least 61 people have died.
