TIZIMÍN.— In the municipal market and among the main suppliers of pork of the local colonies is already anticipated a new increase in pricewhich could be applied in the coming days or weeks, according to local butchers and distributors.
The merchants indicated that they were warned last week by the state’s large pig farmers that the increase is a fact, due to the increase in food prices with which animals are raised, which has considerably increased production costs.
“They have already warned us that it will increase, the exact day is not known, but it will be soon, they tell us that the increase is due to food and that it will be applied before the end of the year,” said José Amílcar Uicab.
