Mexico City, November 24 (However).- The President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo This Monday he held a meeting of almost three hours with Carlos Slimconsidered by Forbes as the richest businessman in Mexico.

The meeting took place in Palacio National and also had the participation of Francisco Cervantespresident of Business Coordinating Council (CCE).

Slim entered the historic site shortly before 2:30 p.m. through a side access on Corregidora Street, in front of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), and left minutes before 5:00 p.m. without giving statements to the press.

Later, President Sheinbaum revealed that the conversation revolved around the “good forecasts for the economy in Mexico at the end of 2025 and for 2026.”

“At the National Palace, we spoke with engineer Carlos Slim and Francisco Cervantes, president of the Business Coordinating Council, about the good forecasts for the economy in Mexico at the end of 2025 and for 2026,” he published on his X account.

The meeting joins other recent meetings between the President and the businessman in the National Palace, where they have addressed issues such as Plan Mexico, the investments that have arrived in the country and the relationship with the United States (EU).
