Russian response to Ukrainian attacks
For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense argued that Wednesday’s attacks are in response to the Ukrainian bombings the day before on civilian facilities in the city of Voronezh.
Moscow said Ukraine fired four US-made ATACMS ballistic missiles on Tuesday, which were intercepted by its air defense systems. In retaliation for these “terrorist” acts, an attack with drones and missiles has been launched on its military and energy industry.
