We didn’t see this coming
Holy Electronic See.- Pope Leo XIV blessed a festival of music rave themed Super Mario Brosand this is the strangest crossover we’ve seen all year.
The events took place in Slovakia, better known as “half of the former Czechoslovakia”, when a massive rave was held at St. Elizabeth’s Cathedral in Košice and was blessed (and inaugurated) by the Holy Pontiff himself.
The event was directed by a Portuguese priest named Guilherme Peixoto, who has gained notoriety since his participation in World Youth Day and, who now coordinated the remote presence of His Holiness.

Thus, they set up a stage worthy of any electronic music festival, to make a video projection (mapping) in front of the Gothic façade of the cathedral, which was illuminated in sync with the music.
The Pope went into gothic mode
While the attendees moved their hands to the rhythm of the song Super Mario Brosthey projected a pre-recorded video of Leo XIV, a message that was edited and integrated directly into Father Guilherme’s musical mix, as part of the theme Dear Young People.
Let us remember that Robert Francis Prevost (the Pope’s real name) has always declared himself a lover of both music and video games, which is why he immediately agreed to appear at the festival, giving a marketing lesson that we had never seen before at the Vatican.
And now we want it at Vive Latino or at Pa’l Norte…
