Mexico City, November 30 (However).- Federal forces killed in Sinaloa a Pedro Inzunza Coronel, alias “Pichón”noted as the right arm of the “Chapo Isidro“, alleged leader of a cell of the Sinaloa Cartel. The action was celebrated by Ronald Johnson, United States Ambassador to Mexico.
According to information revealed by the Mexican authorities, the death of “Pigeon” It occurred as a result of a confrontation with members of the Secretary of the Navy (Semar)who carried out two search warrants at homes associated with the drug trafficker.
“The naval personnel, while carrying out security tours, were attacked with gunshots, so, seeing their lives in danger, they repelled the aggression and controlled the situation,” the Security Cabinet said in a statement.
As a result of the confrontation, Inzunza Coronel lost his life at the scene, while two other people identified as Adelemo Pérez Hernández (“Lemu”) and Miguel Ángel Villalba Castillo, respective logistics operator and hitman of the criminal organization, were arrested.
Likewise, in the operation “two firearms, four vehicles and two cell phones were seized, in addition, two clandestine laboratories for the production of synthetic drugs were located, where a rifle, cartridges, a truck, 1,425 kilos of glass, one kilo of fentanyl, 600 liters of chemical precursors, a reactor and different containers were seized.”

The authorities highlighted that “El Pichón” along with his father, Pedro Inzunza Noriega, former leader of the Beltrán Leyva Cartel, are wanted in the United States for narcoterrorism crimes.
The US congratulates Mexico for the operation
As a result of this action, the United States Ambassador to Mexico, Ronald Johnson, congratulated the Mexican Government “for its successful operation” against the Sinaloa Cartel.
Through a publication on social networks, Johnson highlighted the despondency of “Pichón”, as well as the two arrests made and the seizure of weapons, drugs, laboratories, vehicles and chemical precursors.
“Pichón was accused of multiple crimes in Mexico, including homicides, kidnappings, torture and violent debt collection for drug trafficking. He was also wanted in the United States for various crimes,” the diplomat said.
Likewise, he indicated that this and other results are a reflection of what the United States and Mexico are capable of achieving “when they work together against those who represent a threat” to the citizens of both nations. “Justice will prevail!” he concluded.
