Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med are back for new seasons in 2025. The shows will air on NBC with weekly episodes beginning October 1. The One Chicago franchise will bring new storylines, character changes, and special events for fans.
Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med New Season Episode Count
The new seasons include Chicago Fire season 14Chicago P.D. season 13, and Chicago Med season 11. Each season will consist of 21 episodes. This is one episode less than previous seasons. Chicago Fire will see cast changes as Daniel Kyri, Jake Lockett, and Michael Bradway have left the series. Kyri shared on Instagram, “I’ll miss this character, and it’s time to move on. Thank you to the cast, crew & the awesome fans.”

Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med Release Date, Streaming Time
All three shows premiere on Wednesday, October 1. The weekly air schedule is:
- Chicago Med (Season 11, Episode 1): 8:00–9:00 p.m. ET
- Chicago Fire (Season 14, Episode 1): 9:00–10:00 p.m. ET
- Chicago P.D. (Season 13, Episode 1): 10:00–11:00 p.m. ET
Season finales dates are not confirmed, but past seasons ended in late May.
One Chicago Podcast Launch
NBC has launched the One Chicago Podcast, hosted by Brian Luce, a former Chicago police officer and Chicago P.D. producer. The podcast premiered on September 18. New episodes will air weekly on Thursdays. It will include in-depth conversations with cast and crew about the shows.
