Washington, but with drama.– The Organization of American States (OAS) has issued a historic resolution officially prohibiting Morrissey’s access to any country in Latin America, after the British singer canceled – for the umpteenth time – his tour in several countries in the region.
After the cancellations of the dates it had scheduled on the continent became public, the organization called an emergency meeting to discuss the delicate issue.

Morrissey will not be able to come as a tourist
“Declaring this Morrissey persona non grata is even humanitarian prevention. “We cannot continue exposing our people to the trauma of waiting for something that will never come.”said an OAS spokesperson while keeping what appeared to be two tickets in his jacket.
The document, titled Resolution for the Emotional Stability of the Southern Coneestablishes that Morrissey will not be able to enter any city in Latin America, not even as a tourist, much less saying that he is coming to give a presentation.
For its part, Mexico was the most insistent member on the measure, since the country has been the one that has suffered the most from the snubs of the former lead singer of The Smithshence his firm position:
“That’s enough. He has stood us up more times than my ex. Don’t let him enter again or let his name ever be mentioned.”declared the Mexican representative before the organization, after having seen the tape The Ten Commandments.

In response, the singer sent a statement assuring that “in any case he was not planning to come to any country on the continent,” and that, even so, he will include them in his next tour to symbolically cancel it two days before each presentation.
