Two men were arrested by UK police for being allegedly responsible for a multiple stabbing on a train, which left 10 people injured.
MADRID, Nov. 2 (EUROPA PRESS).- The British police reported that 10 people were injured, two of them are reported to be in critical condition, after a stabbing multiple occurred inside a train –who was arrested after the incident– at the station Huntingdon (United Kingdom), about 120 kilometers north of Londondiscarded for now as attack terrorist.
Although it was initially announced that the lives of nine of the injured were in danger, the police spokesman, John Lovelessconfirmed this morning that four of the injured have already been discharged, but two people remain in critical condition.
The Police The Cambridgeshire County Sheriff’s Office specified that the events took place around 7:30 p.m. (local time) and that two individuals were arrested. The route covered the route from the city of Doncaster to the capital, London.

The detainees were identified as two men of British nationality, “a 32-year-old black citizen and another of 35-year-old Caribbean descent,” confirmed Loveless, who also ruled out any type of terrorist nature regarding the attack.
“At this moment there is nothing that suggests that we are facing a terrorist incident and right now we do not want to speculate about the causes,” he added at a press conference.
The police forces announced that “several people” had to be taken to hospitals after being injured in the stabbing. Likewise, the authorities closed the A-1307 road to traffic, which leads to Huntingdon.

The East of England Ambulance Service spoke of the deployment of a “large-scale operation” to transport the injured that included “numerous ambulances, tactical commanders, our Hazardous Area Response Team and intensive care teams.”
“The terrible incident that occurred on a train near Huntingdon is deeply worrying. My thoughts are with all those affected, and I appreciate the response of the emergency services. Anyone in the area should follow the instructions of the Police,” said the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, in a message from his X account.
Likewise, the Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Paul Bristow, expressed his condolences to those injured in the stabbing. “My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected,” he said.
