TIZIMÍN.— Four people, including one elderly couple and a mother with her son, were injured by the crash of two motorcycles recorded at kilometer 5 of the Tizimín–Chenkekén road section.
At the scene, it was found out that the accident occurred when an elderly man, who was traveling on a black Italica motorcycle accompanied by his wife, tried to enter a ranch.
When his vehicle was about to enter, it was hit by another motorcycle driven by a young man who had his mother as a passenger.

The strong blow projected the four occupants against the pavementcausing various injuries.
Two ambulances—one from the Ministry of Public Security and another from the Red Cross—arrived to provide first aid and take the injured to the hospital.
