Mexico City, November 18 (However).- The legal trustee of Morena at the City Hall palisadeCampeche, Karina Aurora Díaz Hernándezwas murdered shot on Monday in the community of El Cuyo, when he was aboard his vehicle.
The attack against Díaz Hernández, who was Morena’s candidate for mayor of palisade in the 2024 elections, occurred when a group of armed subjects aboard a motorcycle he shot at his car, which ended up crashing into a fence.
According to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Campeche, Karina Aurora Díaz Hernández was transferred to the General Hospital of the municipality of Palizada, where elements of the State Investigation Agency of said entity went to take the report of what happened.
The legal trustee, who worked as a member of section 04 of the National Union of Education Workers in Campeche, received medical attention in this space, but moments later her death was confirmed, while the first procedures for the case were being carried out.
The state authorities explained in a statement that, within the framework of the action and investigation protocols, the corresponding work began to clarify the facts and determine the identity of the person or persons responsible for the attack.
Karina Aurora del Jesús Díaz Hernández, 57 years old, had a degree in Education from the National Pedagogical University (UPN), in addition to being legal affairs trustee of the Palizada city council and president of the council’s Education and Culture Commission.
Díaz Hernández was critical of the municipal government of Palizada, led by the Labor Party (PT) official, Pedro Javier Ayala Cámara. In addition, he recently showed his support for the Administration of President Claudia Sheinbaum.
“Our President is impressive, my admiration, appreciation and affection. You are not alone, you have a people who support you,” he wrote on his social networks before the attack.
