Mexico City, November 29 (However).- The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Guerrero confirmed on Friday andThe lifeless discovery of Kimberly Marisol Sánchez Merinoa 13-year-old high school student who was reported as missing since last October 31, in Chilpancingo.

After carrying out the tests of ADN corresponding, the FGE looked for Kimberly Marisol’s family to go to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo), in order to carry out the procedures for the delivery of the body, while the mother of the minor remained at the Prosecutor’s Office facilities to receive her daughter.

According to the Amber Alert, the student from Technical High School 30 Lázaro Cárdenas, located in the capital of Guerrero, disappeared on November 1 and was last seen outside a convenience store, in the Alianza Popular Colony, in front of the Chilpancingo police facilities.

Kimberly Marisol’s relatives filed a complaint about her disappearance on November 6, and stated that for two days they tried to carry out this procedure, but the authorities placed many obstacles before it could be formally carried out.

In this sense, the teenager’s mother reported that the Guerrero Prosecutor’s Office took more than 24 hours to activate the Amber Alert for her daughter’s case, and that an immediate search was not carried out. What the woman said led to a protest held last Wednesday outside the FGE, in which feminist groups participated.

In response, Semefo staff asked Kimberly Marisol’s mother to go to their facilities that same day to identify a body that was found on the El Huiteco hill, 30 minutes from the capital. However, although the woman recognized the minor’s clothing and physical characteristics, the advanced state of decomposition of the body prevented a complete identification until obtaining the DNA results.

Finally, the Guerrero Prosecutor’s Office gave Kimberly’s family the names of those possibly responsible for the disappearance and femicide of the teenager, but until now said information has not been publicly revealed by the authorities.
