That’s what they call infamy: peace. Peace, dear reader, to the occupation of Gaza, but now by the United States, which is nothing more than an ally of the genocidal Israelis who have no interest in the lives of the Palestinians, nor in their sovereignty, but in their land. Because it was with the help of Trump that Netanyahu carried out the genocide of the Palestinians, with his weapons and with his economic and political support.
Thousands of Palestinians were killed, including thousands of children and women, while the United States systematically blocked ceasefire calls supported by other countries at the UN. While other countries sought to stop the Palestinian holocaust, the United States sent weapons to Israel with which they annihilated thousands and reduced cities to rubble. Days, weeks, months in which the Palestinian people suffered the unspeakable at the hands of the criminal army of Israel sponsored by that economic arm.
No, Trump not only did not stop the massacre, he fueled it with resources and political measures for two years. The American government has innocent blood on its hands and it is cynical madness that Trump is now presented as the manager of “peace.” A criminal delusion, which would aspire to the Nobel Peace Prize, a shamelessness for the world and its media to celebrate what is clearly the next phase of the ethnic cleansing that Israel carries out in the Gaza Strip. A manifestation of Stockholm Syndrome runs through the world when it is unable to recognize evil where it actually is, to turn it into good. Media discourses have become shameless legitimations of the abuses of the powerful in the world, capable of tolerating the intolerable.
It is as if Hitler, upon being discovered, had stopped the executions in the gas chambers of Auschwitz, removed the guards a few meters and had announced a program to “deradicalize” the prisoners in resistance, presenting himself as a peaceful benefactor of the Jews and the world applauded: “Hitler announces peace plan for Auschwitz, stops mass executions in gas chambers gas.” Yes, the example is grotesque and repulsive, dear reader, but it is not far from reality: that is how infamous, dystopian, and brutal what is happening in Palestine, but also in a world that has lost its moral compass, led by murderers and accomplices.
And yes, we are going to call the land that the Israelis stole from its rightful owners last century, when they committed the first Palestinian genocide, called the Nakba.
It is a historical infamy that Netanyahu’s criminal Government has not been arrested and tried for its crimes, in a modern version of the Nuremberg Trials by the International Court and that, instead, it has decided, together with its ally Trump, to suspend its genocidal actions to present them as actions of “peace.”
Thank you, thank you, thank you, we must thank the neo-Nazis for stopping the war crimes and crimes against humanity that they committed these years. Thank you, thank you, thank you, because they no longer bomb hospitals and murder doctors and babies in incubators; Thank you, thank you, thank you, because they no longer murder civilians, journalists, girls in cars, children in their homes, children in the streets, babies and women. Thank you, thank you, thank you, because the murderers have already retreated a few meters, along with their ally from the ruins of Gaza, to manage the concentration camp again and turn it into the “resort” that Trump dreams of. Thank you, thank you, thank you, murderers for stopping killing. Now you can go to your Congress to applaud how they managed to commit the most cruel and heartless genocide since the Second World War, in total impunity.
No, dear reader, that is not peace. Yes, it is the temporary suspension of massacres, but peace requires justice, and if there is none, it is not peace, it is submission. And that is what is happening in the Gaza Strip: Israel violates the “peace” agreements and continues killing Palestinians, but the press does not report it (the international press, by the way, which is prohibited from entering Gaza to witness the level of destruction and famine caused by Israel); He releases Palestinian hostages that he kidnapped and placed in concentration camps, which are his prisons dedicated to torture, and at the same time he kidnaps more Palestinians who will not have any trial, only torture: just as he releases some, he kidnaps more, because there is no one who forces him to respect the human rights of the Palestinians, or comply with the “peace” agreements that are, in reality, strategic actions to simulate and try to defuse global indignation.
Thousands of hostages remain illegally in their prisons for years, but this is not reported by the press, which only associates “hostage” with the civilians kidnapped by Hamas, making invisible the reason why Hamas kidnapped Israeli civilians, which in light of the facts, is incontrovertible: to rescue its own.
It is estimated that nine thousand people, including children, are in their dungeons suffering the unspeakable. Because Israel, like the Nazi occupation forces did with the Jews, can detain any Palestinian, anywhere, and practically disappear them: it is not accountable to anyone, its victims fall into a hopeless hell, unless the resistance commits an atrocious act like the one in October 2023 to free them. At the cost, of course, of facing genocidal retaliation.
You only have to look at the state in which the Palestinian hostages were released these days to be horrified. Or it is enough to know the testimonies of the members of the flotilla who were kidnapped by Israel in international waters, to come close, barely, to the human rights violations committed against the detainees. No, they are not prisons, dear reader: they are concentration camps. Tortures narrated over and over again by the Palestinian victims who have managed to survive confirm this. Did the world really expect the Palestinians not to oppose that injustice, that horror? Thousands of Palestinians are kidnapped by Israel and the world expects its people to resign themselves, not to commit acts in legitimate defense?
How is it possible that the international community has allowed Israel to commit these atrocities for decades? How is it possible that this hell continues, with impunity? Does the international community believe that this time the Palestinians will resign themselves to their own dying in Israeli prisons, mothers, children, brothers, imprisoned in hell for years and without trials? Is it even moral to argue that Palestinians have no right to resist the holocaust that has loomed over them since the founding of Israel?
And yes, dear reader, that is what at least the rulers of the world who share the philo-Nazi idea that Palestinians are not human beings, and therefore have no rights, but also no roots or affections that lead them to fight for theirs, hope for. For this reason, their affections and their aspirations for freedom and justice have been presented as irrational violence, as terrorism, and not as resistance to a criminal order that savagely oppresses them. It is the most extreme dehumanization we have witnessed since Hitler turned the Jewish population into pariahs, taking away their citizenship and the right to life. A tragedy of catastrophic dimensions that can only be alleviated with the wave of global solidarity that finds this horror unacceptable, under the roar of bombs or under the ominous silence of “peace.”
That, dear reader, that infamy is what survives and continues, in which Donald Trump and the international community are complicit. Therefore, we must demand, today more than ever, the release of all kidnapped Palestinian hostages and justice for the Palestinians murdered by the Nazi and genocidal regime of Israel.
