The agreement—which includes gasoline-scented uniforms and press conferences from oil platforms—was greeted with joy by fans who had already lost hope in the Tricolor, even before knowing which group they would get.
“Now they can throw Norway and Italy into the group if they want… in short, Pemex has already congratulated us!” said a compatriot who knows the power of the parastatal.
So far, it is unknown the amount of the agreement or if any area of Pemex has already contacted the president of FIFA or another executive. But the single publication is an endorsement that “good things are coming” for national football.

Among the sponsorship clauses, it stands out that each goal will be celebrated with “responsible combustion” pyrotechnics, that the VAR booth will have a sticker of Gasolina Magna and that, in case of losing, the National Team will justify the result with the phrase: “There were external factors unrelated to the operation“, which has not failed since the expropriation.
In unrelated news, it was announced that FIFA will begin refining gasoline at the Salamanca plant thanks to its expertise in the fuel area.
