“We will not raise the seedling until they know how to smell”
Farmers from all over the country detailed that road blockades will last until the population knows how to distinguish between cilantro and parsley.
The mobilization that began early this Monday will continue, they said, until people are able to distinguish, at least with the naked eye, cilantro from parsley.

The farmers have already mounted the “oregano” challenge on top of the tractors
““We can endure droughts, frosts and budget cuts… but no more stupid questions,” declared the owner of a fruit shop as he climbed onto his tractor.
Educational modules were installed at the blockades where protesters will force motorists to smell, touch and memorize the texture of both herbs, proof that if passed satisfactorily, they will let them continue on their way.
Posters have even been seen posted on tractors with basic instructions such as:

If you doubt it, blow your nose and take it back in.
Meanwhile, the farmers assured that they are willing to remain in the blockades “as long as necessary,” until the entire country stops making mistakes about what herb to put in the Menudo and they no longer say that tomato is a vegetable.
