The Yucatecan delegation that participated in the National Popular Games in Oaxtepec had an important performance in the sports of martial arts, popular boxing and 6×6 soccer, although they were unable to take home medals.

Yucatán traveled to the Morelos fair after four years without participating in these competitions, within the Conade program.

In martial arts, the entity finished its participation by delegation in position number 15.

In popular boxing, the delegation of Yucatecan boxers was made up of 10 athletes and four coaches, with Jazumy Quijano Basulto and Isaid Josafat Castillo Alvarez being the ones who went the furthest, finishing in the quarterfinals.

In 6×6 football, teams participated in the Under-16 and Under-18 categories, with two women’s teams in the quarterfinals.
