MEXICO CITY.- The activist Ceci Flores reported on Thursday that the Facebook page was recovered of the Seeking Mothers of Sonora Collective, after a hacking occurred last Sunday, November 2, 2025.

On social networks, he thanked “on behalf of the group and the more than 2,000 families that make it up” Facebook and Meta for their “invaluable support” in recovering the portal.

“This page is our voice, our most powerful tool to raise our voice for the rights of our missing relatives and demand justice”he highlighted. The activist added that through this platform they upload search files and receive anonymous testimonies that have made it possible to locate “thousands of remains and give peace to thousands of families who have been searching for their loved ones for years.”

He reiterated that the help has been fundamental for the group, and highlighted his commitment to the cause of the families of missing people in Mexicowith justice and with truth.

The seeking mother He stressed that the support received has not only been technical, but also emotional: “the recovery of our page has been a ray of hope for our families, who have found on this platform a space to share their pain, their struggle and their hope,” he said.

On Sunday, November 2, Ceci Flores reported the hack to the Searching Mothers Collective of Sonora and requested the support of Meta to recover the page, since, he detailed, in that space they share findings about missing people in the state and in other entities in Mexico.
