Diego Solorzano Ugaldefrom the 10 km master category, with a time of 36.56 minutes, was the first to cross the finish line in the Marist Career of 10 kilometers, which brought together more than a thousand participants on Sunday morning at the Marist University.
The route was carried out in a section close to the university, in northern peripheral. The awards ceremony was held there, among other activities, with students, alumni, sponsors and authorities who came for the second edition.

A submasterJuan Lara Chávez, Víctor Miranda Mora and Luis Aquiahuatl Vázquez were the first, with Dayana Cobos Llado, Mónica Fueyo and Vanessa Osorio Herrera in women.
A masterDiego Solórzano, Arturo Alatorre Manjarrez and Abel Uitzil Graniel made the 1-2-3, and in the women’s team, Jimena Ruiz Salceda, Nadia Quintero Pérez and Fanny Ávila.
Patricia Baquedano Montero won in veteransahead of Beatriz Broca Rodríguez and Verónica Méndez Hidalgo, and in men’s, Julián Lara Echeverría, Carlos Domínguez Espejo and Martín Jiménez Barrientos.
In 5 kilometers Héctor Quezada, Patricio Maldonado and Víctor Novelo won, and in the women’s category, Geizi Tec Pech, Elena Rodríguez and Lorena Falla Encalada won.
Ermilo Echeverría Castellanos, rector of the Marist University, with Armin Lizama Córdova, director of the Sports Institute; Natania Quintal Novelo, director of Montejo School; Josué Quintal Gurubel, director of the Montejo University Center, and Iván Herrera Rosiles, deputy director of Sports of the Mérida City Council, gave the start and were at the event’s awards ceremony.
