For today, front no. 12 with stationary characteristics that will extend over the Yucatan Peninsulain interaction with a polar trough and the subtropical jet stream, will promote heavy occasional rains in Veracruz (Los Tuxtlas and Olmeca regions), Oaxaca (east and northeast), Chiapas (northwest) and Tabasco (west); and rains with intervals of showers in Puebla (Tehuacán-Sierra Negra region), Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo.

In turn, The cold air mass associated with the front will maintain a cold to very cold environment at dawn with possible frosts in the states of the Mesa del Norte and Mesa Central; “North” event with gusts of 70 to 90 km/h on the isthmus of Tehuantepec accompanied by waves up to 3.5 meters high in the Gulf of Tehuantepec; as well as a “North” event with gusts of 50 to 70 km/h on the coast of Veracruz; and with gusts of 35 to 50 km/h on the coasts of Tabasco and the Yucatán Peninsula, accompanied by waves of 1.5 to 2.5 meters high on the coasts of Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche and Yucatán, conditions that will decrease at night.
On the other hand, the entry of humid air from the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico will cause scattered showers in Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, Guerrero and Veracruz (Totonaca, Nautla, Capital, Sotavento, Las Montañas and Papaloapan regions); and isolated rains in San Luis Potosí (Huasteca region), Querétaro (Sierra Gorda region), and Hidalgo (Huasteca and Sierra de Tenango regions).
