He National Weather Service (SMN), through Conagua Climatereported its General Meteorological Forecast at 06:00 hours for the climate of this Saturday November 29 of 2025.
According to the information, the polar air mass that prompted cold front no. 16 it will gradually modify its thermal characteristics; however, will maintain very cold to icy environment with possible frosts at dawn in high areas of the Mesa del Norte and Mesa Central.
In addition, wind from the north is expected with gusts of 50 to 70 km/h in the isthmus and gulf of Tehuantepec, decreasing at the end of the day.
Besides, Low pressure channels over the center and southeast of Mexico, in interaction with the entry of humid air of the Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea, will generate rains and showers in the west, center and southeast of the national territory, including the Yucatan Peninsula, with occasional heavy rains in Quintana Roo.
Finally, the approach and entry of the new cold front (no. 17) over the north and northeast of the country, and its interaction with a dry line and with the subtropical jet streamwill cause isolated rains and strong winds in areas of Coahuila and Nuevo León, as well as the possible formation of whirlwinds in the north of Coahuila.
