The Egyptian national team began its campaign in the FIFA U-17 World Cup with a huge 4-1 victory over Haiti in the first round of Group E at Stadium 5 in the Aspire area in Qatar on Tuesday.
Egypt temporarily topped Group E with three points before facing England and Venezuela, which will be held later today.
Bilal Attia put the Egyptian team in front three minutes after the start with a solo shot, before Abdel Aziz Al Zoghbi increased the score with a creeping low shot from inside the penalty area in the tenth minute.
Nicolae Perry reduced the gap for Tahiti in the 20th minute, but Hamza Abdel Karim restored the difference to two goals for the Egyptian national team with a direct shot in the 28th minute.
In the second half, Omar Kamal scored the fourth goal for Egypt in the 72nd minute with a header from a cross pass from a corner kick.
The Egyptian national team will meet Venezuela next Friday before concluding the group stage matches against England three days later.

In another match at the Junior World Cup, Brazil defeated its Honduran counterpart 7-0.
The Brazilian team rained down its opponent’s net with four goals in the first half and three in the second in the Group H competition, which also includes Indonesia and Zambia.
Rowan Souza scored the lead goal in the ninth minute, before Dell doubled the lead in the 15th minute, and Felipe Moraes scored the third goal in the 19th minute, then Dell returned to score the fourth goal in the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time.
Vitor Hugo added the fifth goal in the 59th minute, then Angelo Candido scored the sixth in the 74th minute, and Gabriel Carvalho completed the score in the 90th minute.

This is the first edition of the Under-17 World Cup with the participation of 48 teams, which were divided into 12 groups, each containing four teams.
