Full-back Morgan Jean-Pierre scored an exceptional goal, on Friday evening, for his team, FC Fleury, at Valenciennes Stadium in the 13th round of the French third division football league.
Shortly after the end of the first half, while his team was leading 1-0 with Freddy Colombo’s goal in the 11th minute, the Malagasy full-back received a loose ball from the opponent’s defence.
Without hesitation, Morgan fired a shot with his left foot from a distance of approximately 35 meters, and the ball landed in a difficult corner of goalkeeper Jean Lochet.
The stunning goal, scored at the Stade Hainaut in Valenciennes, went viral on social media.
With this wonderful goal and victory in Valenciennes, the newly promoted Fleury team jumped to fifth place in the league standings.
It is noteworthy that Morgan, 33 years old, joined the Parisian club last summer from Orleans.
