SPECIAL GUEST: TRIBUTE TO ACE FREHLEY – LIPSS – Tribute to KISS.
‘Space Ace’ Frehleythe guitarist who brought fireworks to the early years of Kiss, has died at the age of 74. He founded the influential hard rock band “Kiss” in the early 70s, which he left a decade later amid brushes with drug abuse and disagreements with fame.
Paul Daniel Frehley, the guitarist who provided fireworks to Kiss’s catchy melodies from their origins in the New York borough of Queens until 1982, died on Thursday, October 16 in Morriston, New Jersey, at the age of 74. Frehley entered the pantheon of honor of popular music under the nom de guerre of Spaceman, the spaceman, or Space Ace, the space ace, for the silver stars he painted in his eyes, over the white makeup on the rest of his face, during the band’s concerts. This September he canceled the tour for the remainder of the year against his will, after being hospitalized after a fall in his studio. Finally, his representative said: “Frehley passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a recent fall at his home.”
The rock world said goodbye to one of its greatest icons, Ace Frehleywho was the original guitarist and co-founder of the legendary band Kiss.
