In order to monitor investments within the framework of the Mexico Plan and seek strategies to give them more impetus, the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum met with businessmen from the country, including the president of Carso Group, Carlos Slim.
Altagracia Gomez Sierracoordinator of Regional Economic Development and Relocation Advisory Councilwho in this meeting followed up on the investments, “how we can accelerate them, what can be done better in mixed investments, in infrastructure, in energy, some services.”
Interviewed at the end of the meeting, she said that new working groups will be created to link businessmen with the Government.
Furthermore, at the meeting held in National Palacethe head of the federal Executive took the opportunity to recognize the work of Francisco Cervantes in front of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE) and highlighted that although he is already part of its Business Council, it is intended to have a new business link.
“The idea we have of continuing to work together, Paco is also part of my Board, Paco has been part of my Board since before, we have different working groups within the Mexico Plan and the idea is that it is this other table, always the idea of making that bridge, that link is to open more spaces, that we see more entrepreneurs, to know more perspectives. The idea is to continue expanding communication with businessmen from different regions of the country,” he declared.
In this regard, Francisco Cervantes He said that he has been calling on businessmen for more than two years and will continue to help businessmen and that “not until now” has he offered advice, the president Claudia Sheinbaum. Furthermore, he denied that a parallel Council to the CCE was going to be created.
