The deceased was imprisoned for several years in the aforementioned prison, since he was accused of being responsible for the crimes of homicide and extortion; The execution would have been a matter of revenge, since the gunmen knew the time he would leave the prison, so they were already waiting for him. Given this, a settling of accounts is not ruled out.
It was reported that, once the armed attack was completed, those responsible fled the scene, leaving the former Mexican police officer on the street.
It should be noted that the attack occurred when he was crossing the exit door of the penitentiary center, and that he was accompanied by some of his relatives who were helpless to save his life, as they experienced moments of panic.
It was the same relatives of the deceased who requested the presence of the rescue services, and although they arrived and tried to provide him with first aid, they could do nothing, because the multiple bullet wounds he received ended his existence.
The ministerial agents carried out the removal of the body to transfer it to the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) of the town where the legal autopsy will be performed, in addition to finding four shell casings.
The authorities are already investigating the incident, although at first instance it is not ruled out that Luis Rodrigo’s death was motivated by revenge due to the characteristics of the homicide; The identity of the attackers is unknown at the moment, so their whereabouts are expected to be found.
