The United States Embassy in Mexico stressed that the administration of Donald Trump maintains an active collaboration with the Mexican government to confront drug and weapons trafficking.
During a question and answer session on their social networks, the ambassador’s team Ronald Johnson responded to comments from X users that used offensive language.
“It’s a shame that you don’t see the transfer of weapons and drugs on the border, or are they thinking…?” wrote one user.
The diplomatic representation replied: “Hey, no bad words, friend. We are working hand in hand with the Government of Mexico to combat illegal trafficking.”
Another user questioned: “Why don’t they stop arms trafficking from your country to Mexico?”
To this, the embassy responded again that the work is constant and joint with the Mexican authorities.
