Israeli Army Radio announced that the army killed the perpetrator of the ramming attack in Hebron, in addition to another person not involved in the incident, while the government ordered the evacuation of settlement outposts before the visit of the American delegate to the United Nations to Tel Aviv.

According to the radio, a Palestinian car drove quickly towards a group of soldiers stationed at the checkpoint in an attempt to run them over, prompting the forces to respond by shooting at the vehicle. The radio added that a soldier was slightly injured during the incident.

For its part, the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that the occupation forces deployed in central Hebron opened fire on a vehicle carrying citizens in the Bab al-Zawiya area, and prevented Red Crescent ambulances from reaching it.

The Palestinian Red Crescent also said, in a statement, that the occupation army prevented its crews from reaching a car that was shot at in the Bab al-Zawiya area in the city of Hebron.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent said that the occupation forces handed over the body of a martyr from Hebron to the Red Crescent crews.

Evacuation of settlements

On the other hand, Israeli Channel 12 reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the evacuation of 14 settlement outposts in the West Bank, which are classified as a source of Jewish terrorism and national crime, in anticipation of the visit of the US representative to the United Nations, Michael Waltz.

The Israeli channel said that the security services are preparing to deal with the settlement outposts and the rioters who live in them, which are a starting point for attacks on Palestinians and their property.

The channel indicated that it was decided, during a discussion conducted by Netanyahu, to arrest and evacuate the main perpetrators of violence, as their number is estimated to be about 70 settlers. They took refuge in farms and settlement outposts.

On Saturday, Israeli settlers carried out a series of attacks targeting Palestinian gatherings in multiple areas in the occupied West Bank, accompanied by raids by the occupation army and casualties among civilians in Jericho, Nablus, and Hebron.

The “Al-Baidar” human rights organization said that settlers released their livestock into Palestinian lands east of the town of Sa’ir, north of Hebron, which led to the destruction of agricultural areas on which residents depend during the agricultural and grazing seasons.

In the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, settlers obstructed the plowing of farmers’ lands in Wadi Ma’in and seized seeds designated for the current season.
