Starting Monday, the Welfare Secretariat will visit 1,282,000 homes in Michoacán as part of the Plan for Justice and Peace.

The above was announced by the head of the agency, Aridna Montiel during the Morning of President Claudia Sheinbaum; He pointed out that the intention is to know the current situation of the population and its needs.

“On the instructions of the President, within the framework of Plan Michoacán, she asked us to visit each of the homes in the state, which are 1 million 282 thousand homes. We are applying a questionnaire where we ask different things, if you have access to the programs, which programs, if any, would interest you as part of the Plan Michoacán (…) We are going to visit the 113 municipalities, we start on Monday“, reported the federal official.

Montiel Reyes explained that the visits will extend throughout December until the visits conclude; He added that in the 3 weeks that the project has been going on, Bienestar has seen 129 thousand 724 homes in 95 municipalities.

2,337 officials from more than 20 agencies participate in the project, and among the activities is explaining what the Michoacán Plan consists of and “being very close to the people and listening to their proposals.”

Prior to this, President Claudia Sheinbaum indicated that on December 9, the first cut of the Michoacán Plan will be presented, presented on November 9 at the National Palace, 8 days after the murder of the mayor of Uruapan, Carlos Manzo.
