Sheinbaum: No impact on SAT service due to worker strike
The President reported that the strike of SAT workers did not affect the services, since only about 400 employees of the 25 thousand that make up the institution participated. The protests were registered in offices in Chihuahua, Celaya, Guadalajara, Zapopan and partially in Mexico City.
The dissidents ask for a salary increase and the restitution of insurance for major medical expenses, a benefit that, he clarified, no public servant has.
Sheinbaum assured that the dialogue continues with the support of the Ministry of Labor and that service to the public remains normal.

Sheinbaum expressed confidence that the trade agreement between Mexico, Canada and the United States will be maintained, despite pending negotiations on tariffs on heavy vehicles.
He explained that Foreign Minister Juan Ramón de la Fuente and the Secretary of Economy, Marcelo Ebrard, will hold meetings with US officials to resolve the last seven points of the agreement.
He added that there is no official information about the alleged Mexican criminal network mentioned by the US Department of Homeland Security, and that there are no indications of investigations on that topic.
Sheinbaum thanks Slim for support for rain victims
The President thanked businessman Carlos Slim, the Business Coordinating Council and other businessmen for their support with machinery, water and food supplies for the victims in Puebla, Veracruz, San Luis Potosí, Hidalgo and Querétaro. He also recognized the help of state governments and the Ministry of National Defense.
The Secretary of Infrastructure, Jesús Esteva, reported that 681 machines operate in the affected areas, of which around 300 are provided by the private initiative, and that more equipment continues to arrive to deal with emergencies.

Claudia Sheinbaum assured that her government maintains full confidence in the economic plan, after the IMF increased its growth projection for Mexico to 1% for 2025 and 1.5% for 2026. The number of people killed by rain increases to 66, reports Sheinbaum
President Claudia Sheinbaum reported that the number of deaths due to the recent rains and floods in Hidalgo, Veracruz, Puebla and San Luis Potosí increased to 66. In addition, there are 75 people not located and 103 have already been found.
The federal government maintains communication with family members and local authorities, and will enable a microsite with public information. Airlifts, food shipments and medical transfers are being carried out in isolated communities, while censuses of damage and affected homes are being prepared.
