The president Claudia Sheinbaum highlighted the delivery of 900 kilometers of roads in La Mixteca from Oaxaca.
In his X account, he highlighted that “we inaugurated the section of the Interoceanic Train what’s about TonalaChiapas, until IxtepecOaxaca”.
He stated that “in the Oaxacan Mixteca we fulfilled a commitment from the beginning of this year: we are delivering around 900 kilometers of repaved and new roads. Thank you for your love; reciprocated love.”

President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo presented the progress of the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río General Plana strategy of coordination between agencies and the three levels of government for the benefit of 1.54 million inhabitants and that adds a investment of 5,900 million pesos (mdp) in road infrastructure, hospital structure, Wellbeing Programs and artisanal roads.
“It’s been almost a year since we were here in The Mixteca with all of you, I committed then that we were going to pave roads, that we were going to do new paths. Do we comply? —Yes— We still have a long way to go, but here is the commitment: we are not going to leave La Mixteca during the entire six-year term, we are going to be here,” he stated.
General Plan Lázaro Cárdenas del Río advances
He remembered that the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río General Plan was inspired by the former president of Mexico, after he dedicated part of his life to promoting that region through Raft Commission and therefore the person in charge of monitoring this project is his grandson and head of the Office of the Presidency of Mexico, Lázaro Cárdenas Batel.
He pointed out that some actions of this plan are the expansion of artisanal pathsconstruction of new health centers, Wellness Pharmacies, new schoolsmore preparatory schools that are close to the house, the repair of water treatment plants — which will be accompanied by a water pots— and a special program so that artisans from the region can market their products at fair prices.

He recalled the principles of Mexican Humanism: for the good of all, first the poor; There can be no rich government with poor people; and with the people everything, without the people nothing. He coordinator of the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río Plan and head of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Lazaro Cardenas Batelrecalled that this plan was presented on January 25 of this year and its main objective is to reduce poverty conditions in The Mixtecawhich covers eight states in the country, to pay a historic debt with these communities. He reported that this Friday he held a meeting with 70 municipal presidents of the region and thanked them for their commitment to materialize these actions for the benefit of its inhabitants.
