The school calendar of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) For the 2025-2026 cycle, it includes several breaks during the month of November, which means that millions of basic education students will be able to enjoy some long weekends and days without classes.
We recommend: Why will there be no classes this October 31? This is what the SEP says
Official days without classes in November 2025
According to the current calendar for public and private schools incorporated into the National Education System, these are the days on which there will be no classes in preschool, primary and secondary schools during November 2025:
Friday, November 14 – Registration and qualification evaluation day.
Although teachers will be dedicated to administrative tasks, students will not attend classes, starting a long bridge.
Monday, November 17 – Official holiday commemorating the Mexican Revolution.
The holiday is moved from the 20th to the third Monday of the month, in accordance with the Federal Labor Law, so students will enjoy four consecutive days of rest, from Friday the 14th to Monday the 17th of November.
Friday, November 28 – Ordinary session of the School Technical Council (CTE).
Like every month, teachers and administrators will meet to analyze academic progress and plan educational strategies, which is why students will have another day off.
