After the work stoppage yesterday, Tuesday, October 14, in some offices of the Tax Administration Service (SAT) throughout Mexico, the tax body affirmed that it keeps the channels of dialogue and cooperation open with its workers “in a framework of respect and responsibility.”

Through an information card, he indicated that service to users was done “normally in 155 of the 162 deconcentrated offices and Tax Service Modules, nationwide.”

The SAT asserted that The operation was only suspended in the Chihuahua, Chihuahua offices; Celaya, Guanajuato; Guadalajara Sur and Zapopan, in Jalisco, and in the Oriente and Sur headquarters of Mexico City.

In addition, 59,248 services were provided and 3,258 appointments were rescheduled throughout the country, which is equivalent to 5% of the total scheduled appointments, according to the communication posted on your X account.
The SAT reaffirmed its commitment to public service workers and recognized that “their work is essential in serving citizens.”

Yesterday, Tuesday, the tax collection agency assured that in no way has it responded with threats against the workers who went out to demonstrate.

The national strike of SAT workers was part of a day of protest to demand a living wage, better working conditions and an end to inequalities between unionized and trusted personnel.
