The singer from Queretaro is making his debut with his new album “Homenaje al grande Pancho Barraza”, his blood cousin.

After releasing his latest single “Máscoldia que Alaska”, alongside Vika Valles, Queretaro singer Paco Rodríguez “El Rey”, is back on the music scene with a tribute to his first cousin Pancho Barraza, with the EP called “Homenaje al grande Pancho Barraza”, in which the performer includes six songs by Barraza, including his new single “Vuelve por favor”.
Exclusively for Canton Group“El Rey”, gave us all the details of his album that will be released this November 14 on all digital platforms, his path to success and how he closes the year full of work and new projects.
“Pancho Barraza He is my first cousin, his mother and my father are brothers, we are blood brothers. Precisely since I was a child I saw my relatives in the media, on stage, since I was a child I loved singing. I once belonged to a musical group, but now I am an independent singer. In fact, about eight years ago, on some occasion in Mazatlán, Pancho was with me in the studio, he was directing my first production and currently we have a lot of contact, but I would like to do something musical, do a collaboration with him,” said Paco.
Pancho Barraza has always supported him. “Somehow Pancho gave me “the kick of good luck”, this album is a small tribute to Pancho, we made six songs on the EP, people had always asked me to sing my cousin’s songs, and well there is the EP and I am very happy for this achievement, Pancho’s songs in my voice. The single is “Vuelve por favor”, in addition to other songs such as “Romantic Music”, “My Enemy of Love”, “The Pretty Girl” and more,” he noted.

Paco shared that 2025 has been a year with many challenges and learning, full of presentations and a lot of music, the proof is in the song that Paco recently released with Vika Valles, “Colder than Alaska”, which is also breaking it on digital platforms. The song and music video come with a very special spark that fans of both artists and the general public are liking. The Port of Mazatlán was witness to giving life to the music video, which reflects the chemistry of both artists.

“Thank God we have a lot of work, this week we are going to be in Florida, then we will have a presentation in Acapulco, then we have a couple of presentations in Chiapas, and in December we will be in Irapuato, just to mention some of the places where we are going to perform. In addition, I have not stopped making music, we are recording all the time, we finished the year with a lot of work and we are going to start 2026 with a lot of music, because we have all the attitude,” concluded Paco Rodríguez “El Rey”.
