Uncertainty once again shook the municipality of Cuautitlán Izcalli. With the disappearance of Alexa Ayumi Martinez Bautistaa 13-year-old teenager who has not returned home since Wednesday afternoon, the community faces a new blow that revives the fear latent for weeks.

The search for Jeshua Cisneros Lettuceabout whom nothing has been heard since November 13, remains open, and now both cases keep the population on high alert.

On the streets, concern became organization. Neighbors tour neighborhoods, raise improvised brigades and distribute the search form for Alexadescribed as wearing gray and black sportswear. “We can’t sleep. It could happen to any of our children,” laments Teresa Bautista, a resident of Bosques del Lago. “The authorities arrive late and act without haste; we cannot wait.”

The affected families report that institutional support has been minimal. Jesús Cisneros, father of Jeshuainsists that there is no real progress. “Fifteen days and no clue.

“That is not an investigation, it is abandonment,” he declared. His call has motivated a blockade scheduled for this Friday on the Mexico-Querétaro highway, where they will demand immediate results.

Between posters, prayers and night tours, the community insists that it will not allow the two young people to be forgotten. “We are not looking for culprits, we are looking for our children,” repeat the neighbors, determined to maintain pressure until the authorities respond with actions and not with speeches.
