The Mobility Secretariat (Semovi) announced in a statement new station closures of the Metrobus December 1 to 16 to carry out renovations and improve service.
As part of the periodic improvements to the system, Metrobús will be carried out maintenance work higher in stations line 1 to adapt the spaces for the benefit of users.

The works consist of the placement of tactile guidance on the floor of the stations. By security of the user populationthese works cannot be performed while providing servicehence partial closure is necessary of stations for ensure compliance of the standards of safety and quality.
During the adaptation work, the seasons involved they will not provide service until the conclusion of them.
Among the stations that will close are:
- Naples days 1 and 2
- The Race days 2 and 3
- Chopo days 2 and 3
- Valley Colony on days 3 and 4
- Theater of the Insurgents on days 3 and 4
- Manuel Gonzalez on days 4 and 5
- Reform on days 4 and 5
- José María Velasco on days 5 and 6
- The Jewel on days 5 6
- Olive tree on the 8th and 9th
- The Light Bulb on the 8th and 9th
- Buenavista II on the 9th and 10th
- Hamburg on the 9th and 10th
- Altavista on the 10th and 11th
- Sunken Park on the 10th and 11th
- Durango on the 11th and 12th
- Chilpancingo on the 11th and 12th
- Sonora on the 15th and 16th
- Sports City on the 15th and 16th
