“We invite the responsible pet owners so that they are aware of the passage of the mobile brigade or take them to the fixed modules in the Vector offices. This participation reinforces the rabies vaccination coverage that we carry out in the 13 municipalities,” said the state head of the Zoonoses Program, Antonio Contreras Domínguez.

He announced that until the last cut to the epidemiological week no. 45 this year, there is progress of 110,875 dogs and cats protected against rabieswhere the municipalities that make up the Health District for Wellbeing No. 1 such as Calkiní, Campeche, Champotón, Dzitbalché, Hecelchakán, Hopelchén, Seybaplaya and Tenabo, 57,126 doses were applied.
Health District No. 2, which covers the municipalities of Calakmul, Candelaria and Escárcega, recorded an achievement of 48 thousand 794 vaccines. While for District No. 3, which includes Carmen and Palizada, It has 4,955 protected pets.
