According to forecasts, if their power increases, the possible tropical storms Melissa y Nestor They will cover areas in both the Pacific and the Atlantic. Therefore, the National Meteorological Service (SMN) He took on the task of analyzing their movements until determining the key points that indicate when they could form.

According to official information, The tropical cyclone season ends in November 2025, although so far 17 cyclones have been recorded in the Pacific Ocean and 12 in the Atlanticand according to the forecast, between 29 and 37 had been expected in both bodies of water.

At the moment, specialists are looking at two potential cyclones that, if they develop, would become storms Melissa and Néstor.

Melissa, for her part, It has a 30% chance of becoming a tropical cyclone in seven days. It is located 5,225 km east of the coast of Quintana Roo and is moving west at a speed of between 24 and 32 km/h.
