MEXICO CITY.-An alleged agent of the capital’s Prosecutor’s Office was arrested after killing his love rival, due to a sentimental conflict, in the mayor’s office Tlahuac.
The tragic events occurred at a street party that was taking place on Eje 10 Oriente and Santa Catarina Street, in the Ampliación Santa Catarina neighborhood, where Julio César “N”, 38 years old, met Miguel Vázquez, 50 years old, and they began to argue, since both were dating the same woman.
From insults they turned to physical attacks and Julio César pulled out a gun and shot his love rival, then escaped aboard a white car.
The injured man was taken by his family to a hospital for prompt medical attention, however, he lost his life a few minutes later.
Derived from the above, the monitors of the Command and Control Center (C2) Oriente carried out the analysis of the video surveillance cameras, with which they identified the possible perpetrator who was traveling aboard a white car and was in the Town of San Francisco Tlaltenco, where the uniformed officers implemented a security device and detained him on Tláhuac Avenue and San Rafael Atlixco Street.
