The Business Coordinating Council (CCE) reported that, in accordance with the calendar established by its internal regulations, the registration period for candidates for the presidency of the organization concluded, which remained open from November 6 to 11.

“During this process, only the candidacy of Dr. José Medina Mora Icaza was registered, who was proposed as a unit candidate to head the CCE in the next institutional period,” the organization said.

He pointed out that in accordance with the statutes, the National Council will be informed about the result of the registration during its session on November 14, giving way to the period for presenting proposals to the organizations that make up the CCE, scheduled for November 14 to December 5.

He added that subsequently, the Ordinary Annual General Assembly, a space in which the election and change of Presidency is formalized, will be held during the second week of December.
