Through a direct award contract, the Secretary of Culture made the payment of 27 million 955 thousand 398 pesos for the concept “Comprehensive service to carry out the planning, organization, production and presentation of Alejandra Ávalos, Colectivo Legado de Grandeza and La Arrolladora Banda El Limón de Rene Camacho within the framework of the celebration of the 215th anniversary of the cry of Independence of Mexico.” The company hired for the event was KIDAME, S. DE RL DE CV according to the hiring reports for the third quarter of 2025.

The contract breaks down that of the total contract, 18 million went to pay for the musical set of La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, 2 million 500 thousand pesos for the Colectivo Legado de Grandeza and 805 thousand pesos for the show given by the singer-songwriter Alejandra Ávalos. While the rest of the public resources were allocated to the dressing rooms, audio and video equipment, screens, in addition to the installation of fences and the stage.

The document also indicates that the money came from the budget item for cultural shows, although it is positioned as one of the most expensive. Meanwhile, during the time that Ana Francis López directs the Ministry of Culture, Users of cultural venues have complained about the lack of maintenance, as is the case of the Ollin Yoliztli Cultural Center, where the Cirko de Mente circus school operates, which held protests due to lack of budget. Also through demonstrations, the Network of Lighthouses and Cultural Centers complained about the lack of supplies and maintenance of facilities.
