The integration of war refugees from Ukraine in Germany is a complex issue that includes both social and economic aspects. A current study by the Federal Institute for Population Research in Wiesbaden now offers detailed insights into the living conditions of these people. Starting in the summer of 2022, more than 6,000 Ukrainian people seeking protection were surveyed at regular intervals over a three-year period in order to draw a comprehensive picture of their integration.
The results of the study show that a significant proportion of Ukrainian refugees are now integrated into the German labor market. Many of them have not only found work, but have also begun to integrate into German society.
